I had a simulation in class today, practicing my skills as a social worker on a client who is stuggling with accepting he’s going on welfare. The male ego is something very strange…
leave class to go to the pub with my group ( the “gays”, as they labeled themselves not I). Ok, cool fun time… going to lcbo to move the party to Drews house…

ran into an old friend
he told me i looked happy.
he looked into my eyes and said they sparkle with a warmth
they didn’t used to have
he asked me
what changed
what changed is i moved on, i let go
and i wished him all the best
in his quest for happy
Lately,
I have been in a happy place, maybe its the weather maybe its something else…
but I am in a good place, my heart is contented.

this invisible children thing gets me riled up,
how ever…. thewhite man going into africa to save the “invisible children”
