cinniie: One of my favorite things is how thoughts are kind of like a quilt in a way, interlocking and overlapping and cross-referencing each other. Memory isn’t logical and I amuse myself to be sitting down thinking of one thing and then jumping onto another topic and running down a tangent before I even realize how astray I’ve gone from the initial area of focus.  I think it’s great that thought functions this way because it leads to better generations of ideas. Imagine if you could only be reminded of ‘a’ by a particular stimuli every time. You would never get anywhere!
